Quotes:
We have asked many people in the wrestling business their thoughts of Ken Anderson the wrestler.

Horace the Psychopath stated it better than anyone else, "Ken Anderson.. this man is the future of wrestling".

Indy Announcer AJ Fontana: "He is an incredable tallent with a ton of potential. He was a great look.  I am sure he will be going someplace big sometime soon."

DJ Danielson: Statements like "He has potential" are thrown around all too often on the independent wrestling scene. Kamikaze Ken Anderson is one of the very few who has real potential to make it to the national scene. He is a solid worker, who can wrestle any style, whether it be high flying, mat work, or even brawling. It doesn't matter if he is opening the card, or in the main event, you can always count on Kamikaze Ken to put on a terrific match.

SDW Ref Tony Parise: hes a good worker and nice guy

Nicholas Loken: Ken is a great worker, never seen him have a bad match. The guy has a great look and I belive will one day be a big superstar

Kujo: One of my favorite 'nice heads' to kick the shit out of in the ring. One of my favorite 'nice heads' to be around outside the ring. Hope he gets that match with Gillberg he has always wanted...lol

Sam Hayne: 1st, he has improved about 300 times since he started, he is learning alot of psychology & improving his matches with that, he is tight almost stiff, but I like that, he really knows how to work the crowd.

Tim Larson: "Ken is one nasty, cocky heel. He has great athletic talent and good charisma. It is obvious from his ACW work why fans voted him as co-wrestler of the year in the Upper Midwest Wrestling Newsletter for 2001."

HISTORY:
Ken Anderson had a strong athletic background before becoming involved in professional wrestling, competing in swimming and track in high school. But in addition to traditional athletics, he was also involved in two different styles of martial arts: Tae-Kwon-Do and Escrima (stick-fighting). In 1997, Ken took first place at the Midwest Regional Escrima Championship.

Ken describes his entrance into the world of pro wrestling himself: "In January of '99, I contacted Rockin' Randy in Chicago, who passed me along to Mike Mercury in Green Bay. I had a tryout one Sunday afternoon with Mike and Eric Hammers. I didn't really know what to expect but after two and a half hours of taking bumps, I knew that I was in love with it. Afterwards, they asked if I was interested in continuing, and I said hell yeah because I just thought that it was cool to even be inside a wrestling ring! I trained with them for about 8 months and In late September of 1999, I debuted at The Watering Hole in Green Bay against Derrick St. Holmes, Esq."

As a performer, Kamikaze Ken is a strong wrestler with some high-flying moves that earned him the nickname "Kamikaze." Known for his agility and his crazy planchas and dives, his signature finisher is a top-rope senton which has been affectionately dubbed the Kenton Bomb.

Anderson's determination was further tested when he was admitted to the hospital with a tennis-ball sized hole in his lung for nine days in early 2000. "The Doc says that I took a hard bump, coughed up some blood, some of the blood stayed in my lung and became a breeding ground for bacteria that my immune system normally would have fought off. The bacteria ate a huge hole in my lung. I had a 102-103 temperature for like two weeks and I lost 26 pounds. I didn't know if I would make it, and was worried that I wouldn't be able to wrestle again for fear of a relapse if I did make it. You have no idea what it's like for a doctor to show you a picture of your lung that's half gone at 24 years old. That sucked." However, after months of recovery, Ken made a triumphant return to the ring at an ACW event named especially for him - The Return of Kamikaze Ken, on June 3, 2000.

What is it that Ken loves about being a wrestler? "I love to entertain. I've always been an entertainer. When I was in grade school, I was doing plays, and when I got to high school, I continued doing a few more plays and I also got into Forensics. I went to state all three years I did it and got gold medals all three years. And in wrestling, I love hearing the pop of a crowd. I also like taking bumps and pushing myself to the limit. It gives me a good reason to stay healthy and in shape!"

Ken lists among his favorite matches that he's been in as himself versus Mike Mercury in Green Bay, against Dino Bambino in Manitowoc (both matches for ACW), vs. God's Gift to Women Kevin Krueger (Cage match for the ACW Heavyweight Title),, vs. Lenny Lane for SDW in Hastings, Any match with Dino Bambino, Kevin Krueger, or Kujo, and Kujo in West Allis for MAW -- not necessarily in that order.

What are Ken's other interests outside the ring? "I like a lot of different things. I have a very wide variety of musical tastes. I listen to EVERYTHING. I like watching movies and playing video games. Spending time with my girlfriend. Spending time with the family. Working out at the gym. Traveling. Stickfighting, sparring, etc. Anything new and exciting. I'm willing to try just about anything. (Don't get any crazy ideas, Peter B...)"

Kamikaze Ken is currently enjoying wrestling in the midwest independent circuit and has been contacted several times by the WWE.  He has appeared on Smackdown as an extra, twice on Jakked.  Once against Essa Rios, and again with Skullkrusher vs Chuck Palumbo and Billy Gunn.  He has also had a dark match against Scot Vick. (formerly Sick Boy from WCW)
