Probably my third favorite game of all time (Commander Keen is 1st and Rayman is 2nd.) You play Jazz Jackrabbit, a freelance crimefighter in a futuristic universe. The evil Devan Shell has captured Princess Eva Earlong, and you want to save her. Not much of a plot, but awesome 2D shooter gameplay!
Best described as a mix between Sonic the Hedgehog and Duke Nukem, this fast (and I mean fast) features beautiful graphicas and shoot-first-ask-questions-later gameplay. There are TONS of different enemies and weapon-types, and a lot of different worlds. Trust me, you'll love this one. The fast gameplay will take a while to get used to, but its worth it. |
