| We are having a baby! |

| Well it is offical, IT'S A GIRL!! Kris and I went today (April 5, 2004) to get our ultrasound to find out the sex of the baby. We had wanted a little boy because everyone in the Carlson family so far had only had girls. Honestly we really didn't mind either way as long as the baby is healthy. We have had to reschedule our appoinment to find out the sex of the baby for about two weeks and during that time Kris and I were starting to think it probably was going to be a girl. I was soo nervous and anxious that I was getting nauseated and also being a total chatterbox!! We got to see her wave and yawn (or probably talking already if she takes after me) and play with her toes! We had a blast watching the ultrasound and we made the tech laugh several times. Note that so far she looks to have a normal sized head (and not some monster head like her daddy) and so far seems to have a cute little button nose like mine (and not a big Carlson nose like her daddy)we said this and the tech tried to nonchalantly look over to look at Kris's nose and Kris looked at her and they both started to laugh and she said sorry but I had to look since you said that! But the funniest was when she was looking to see the sex and the tech said...well there is nothing there...I being all in shock and excited seeing the baby I thought she meant the baby had no sex organs or that the baby disappeared or something..I must have had some strange look on my face or she must of realized my brain was not working because she said...That means it is a GIRL! Kris and I are just sooooooooooooo happy! I cannot wait to go shopping now and Kris cannot wait to start loading up on his shotguns and ammo..haahaa!! |

| Here are her first really noticable ultrasounds...she finally looks like a human!! |
| Well it might be a bit cheesey but her name means blessed sunshine! After all we have been through to get this far and to have her, she truly is a blessing and will be our little sunshine! She truly is a miracle and a darn good kicker too! Yet I am not being awaken by her kicking yet...she likes to flip alot too so maybe she will be a future prima ballerina or even a professional soccer player!! We have started on our baby regestries too!! We have regestered at Babiesrus &Target. We are still adding and updating but feel free to stop and browse at what we have selected! (www.babiesrus.com www.target.com) We have chosen her theme and colors too! Her nursery will be in a princess/ballerina theme with her colors being mint green, pink, yellow and white. Her bathroom will incorporate duckies, doggies, and froggies. With the colors being yellow, green, white and blue. |
