you can work around it even if you are on static ip. All you have to do is to find some http proxies (that WORK WITH RS, not all proxies work with RS) and there you go! I used to do that and I was downloading even 5 files simultaneously without a subscription..
However I strongly advise you to buy the subscription, its damn worth it! And not just for porn, you can download heaps of movies too..
As for the proxies, try looking for http proxies on google, do some tests..I spend about 2-3 hours one evening, tested about 40-50 proxies and eventually came down to 5 good ones that would work most of the time (hey this isnt a very-secret-way, many people do it). If you care to spend a couple of afternoons you can get down to a dozen proxies that you can use at your leisure to download the hell out of RS! but beware, speed is gonna be a bit slower than regular cause your download goes through another machine, which slows it down since you deal with the proxies speed, not RS's speed, however most proxies are pretty fast. (Hell its free!).
Now if you are smart and a bit of a geek you may come up with a very good trick to get ALL the proxies that support downloading through rapidshare (well..not 100% of them but about an 80% chance)..but you have to figure it out yourself.
Dont forget that if you have a personal website on a server that supports cgi scripts you can set up a proxy yourself!
