| "Where Ignorance Is Bliss" To each his suffering:all are men, Condemn'd alike to groan The tender for anothers pain, The unfeeling for his own. Yet.Ah!why should they know their fate, Since sorrow never comes to late, and happiness to swiftly flies? Thoughts would destroy their paradise. No more:-where ignorance is bliss, Tis folly to be wise... Thomas Gray {From On A Distant Prospect of Eaton College} |
| HOPE Hope springs eternal in the human breast, Man never is,but always to be blest, The soul uneasy, and confined from home, Rests and expatiates in a life to come. Alexander Pope {from Essay on Man} |
| I Shall Not Pass Again This Way The bread that bringeth strength I want to give, The water pure that bids the thirtsty live: I want to help the fainting day by day; I'm sure I shall not pass again this way. I want to give the oil of joy for tears. The faith to conquer crowding doubts and fears Beauty for ashes may I give alway; I'm sure I shall not pass again this way I want to give some measure running o'er. And into angry hearts I want to pour The answer soft that turns wrath away; I'm sure I shall not pass again this way. I want to give to others hope and faith, I want to do all the Master saith, I want to live aright from day to day: I'm sure I'll not pass again this way. |

| Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.
Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other. Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want. When you say, "I'm sorry", look the person in the eye. Believe in love at first sight. Never laugh at anyone's dreams. People who don't have dreams don't have much. Love deeply and passionately, You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely. In disagreements, fight fairly. Please No name calling. Don't judge people by their relatives. Talk slowly but think quickly. Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk Say "bless you" when you hear someone sneeze. When you lose, don't lose the lesson. Remember the three R's: Respect for self; Respect for others; Responsibility for all your actions. Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship. When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it. Smile when picking up the phone. The caller will hear it in your voice. |
