About Super Blocks
Battles, they are a BIG part of the story.  Mario learns skills, and gets Experience, plus you can get Items and Coins!  All this "training" so Mario can beat King Bowser.  Mario's levels keep getting higher and higher.  His HP goes up, more FP piles up, and BP allows more Badges to be Equipted.  All this power!  But, only for Mario...  So, what about your party?  Don't forget about your partners, San Mario!
How do you get your party stronger?  None of the Experence you gain helps them out.  That's what a Super Block is for!  A Super Block powers up one (ONLY 1) partner.  Their Attack and Defince adds up.
Down side; these Super Blocks can be somewhat hard (or annoying) to find.  Good thing Merluvlee tells you (briefly) where they are...for a price, of course!
There are a total of 16 Super Blocks, 2 for each partner.  The first 6 have to be given to different partners.  I mean, you cant give 2 to one partner before you get the Ultra Stone.  (Give me a second, I'm gettin' to that next!)
The first Super Block power you give a partner will make them a Super Rank.  After you get the Ultra Stone in Jade Jungle, you can give a partner that is on the Super Rank another Block and turn them into an Ultra Rank.
You will have all your party on the Ultra Rank if you find all the Blocks, so don't worry about running out of blocks for partners.  Just try to upgrade the partner that would help you the most in the Chapter!  Like, in Chapter 5, you're in the Volcano, so you might want to make Sushie stronger so she could use her water powers to damage the fire enemies.
Here is a good link for the illusive Super Block!  It's part of Merluvlee's page of secret Item locations!  This'll help you find Super Blocks.
