| About Stars' Powers |
| Focus This is the first power you are given by Eldstar. It isn't a power used to fight with. It revives your Star Points. This doesn't cost any SP. If you choose to use this, you will not be able to do anything else (like attack or use Items), so you may want to wait for the SP to go up on its own if you have low HP or the enemy is almost defeated. Refresh This is also given to you by Eldstar along with Focus. This power uses 1 SP. Actually, this is your first Battle magic. It can be used to heal yourself. When it is used, your FP and HP go up by 5. This is helpfull, but might not be of much assistance at a higher level. Lullaby This power is nice! You need atleast one SP to cast it. When this power is used, most enemies will go to sleep for a few rounds. This is really effective in Tubba Blubba's Castle, all the guards fall asleep for 4 turns. Too bad it doesn't work on every enemy... Star Storm I like this one!! Skolar has a good power, I think! When this power is used, all (yes, ALL) enemies are hit for 7 points! Very handy, if I do say so myself. Nice on bosses, but try not to waste all your SP on it, you never know when you might need to us some SP for healing powers. This attack takes 2 SPs. Chill Out 2 SP are required for this one. If you decide to use this, all enemies' attack and defince are lowered for 4 or 5 turns! It's good on bosses, mainly. Use it on Huff N. Puff, the little cloud things cant hit you at all! Smooch Tee hee! This one's cute, and helpful! You have to have 3 SP for it, though. Misstar will appear, look like she's gonna' attack your enemies, then turn around and kiss Mario! This gives you 20 HP!! Time Out Use this to make some enemies freeze for som rounds. It's a good move, but it really sucks that you cant use it on lots of bosses... It takes 2 SP to cast. Up & Away Hmm... This one's ok. You're so high up by this point that it doesn't work on some enemies. Use this power to turn a group of enemies into Stars so you don't have to hight them. They all fly away, so it's like running away without loseing the money. No experence. This move takes 2 SP. Star Beam When you go to Star Haven in Chap. 8, you speak with all the Star Spirits. They all thank you for rescueing them, and grant you a special power that can be used to combat against the Star Rod. All their powers combin! During your final fight with Bowser, he uses the Star Rod, and when he does, you can't hit him, plus he hits you a lot harder. This move doesn't need SP, and doesn't do anything to other enemies. Peach Beam The Peach Beam is an upgrade of the Star Beam. The Star Beam wasn't working on Bowser. You can't hit him if he's useing the Star Rod. The Star Spirits were not powerful enough. Twink and Peach Hime have been trying to help Mario the whole time. The Stars grant the wishes of those who wish unshlfishly. Peach Hime's wishes for Mario to beat Bowser gave Twink and the Star Spirits more power. Twink joins the Star Spirits, and along with the pure wishes of Peach Hime, the Star Beam becomes the Peach Beam! When used, the effects of the Star Rod stop. If you wait around while Bowser used the Star Rod, he will hit you a lot harder... |
