| About the Quest |

| The Paper Mario quest; the story behind the adventure you guide Mario through. You collect objects, earn money and make friends along the way, but why is Mario on this "quest"? What is the purpose of this searching? Our story begines at Mario and Luigi's house. A letter is delivered by Parakarry (who'd you expect?). It is an invitation to a party at Peach's Castle hosted by the Princess of Mushroom Kingdom. When Mario arrives, he is talking with Princess Peach, when the castle lifts from the ground and flies high into the night sky. Bowser's Castle is under it prepelling it upward! When Mario and Peach notice what has happened, Bowser bursts through the window and demands a fight with our hero. It goes well, untile Bowser explains that he has a new weapon that is unbeatable. Bowser has stolen the magical Star Rod from Star Haven! In the heavens, there are 7 Star Spirits. These holy Stars grant all the wishes of the world. The Star Rod has the power to grant everyone's dreams. King Bowser wishes to beat Mario in battle, so his power is so great that he can not be stopped! Poor Mario gets knocked out, and blown completely off the castle. Princess Peach, her castle and all the people inside the castle for the party are all captured in the sky! While Mario lies unconcious on the grassy plane near Goomba Village, he sees the 7 Star Spirits who give him some of their powers. Later, Goombaria (Goombario's little sister) finds Mario, and she and her family take him to the Toad House to rest. Elderstar speaks to Mario in his sleep. He tells him to go to Shooting Star Summit for them to speak with him. When Mario wakes up, Goombario decides to join Mario, and you are off to Shooting Star Summit! When you reach Shooting Star Summit, the Star Spirits tell you of the Star Rod and that they have been captured, and confined by lots of Bowser's minions. (The Star Spirits you see on Shooting Star Summit are not really the actual Star Spirits, they are only an image.) Mario must rescue the Star Spirits, make it to Star Haven, fly to Bowser's Castle in the sky, rescue Peach Hime, retrieve the Star Rod, AND fight Bowser...wooo! Sure is a lot for just one plummer!! For Mario's sake, it's a good thing lots of people are on your side! All 8 of your party members stick with you all the way to King Bowser, lots of folk along the way help you, and even Peach Hime helps you along with Twink the Star Kid! Well, hopefully San Mario will be able to make it all in the nick of time, before Bowser has enough power from the Star Rod to take over the entire Mushroom Kingdom, good luck Mario-Sama, good luck! |
