Final Fantasy VII: The Battle for the Planet

_____"Heeeey!" yelled a voice. Cloud spun around and saw a figure dart suddenly through the trees. Someone had been following them, and they seemed hostile. He was beginning to think that travelling through the forest had been a bad idea. He drew his sword and got into his battle stance, whilst the others did the same.
_____"Ha!" cried the voice again. Tifa spun around as the person shot past her, pulling something from her pouch.
_____"Hey!" she yelled. "My money! I lost 200 gil!"
_____With a scream, the person dropped down from a tree and landed on Cloud. He fell to the ground with the person on top of him and they wrestled for control. He forced the person to the ground and held them there so he could look at them. It was female, about sixteen years old. She wore small pale shorts and a small green sleeveless top. On her feet were knee-high brown boots and she had a strange guard on her arm. Her hair was short and brown and a grey bandanna was wrapped around her head.
_____She grunted and kicked Cloud off, then disappeared into the trees. He froze and looked around, waiting for the girl to reappear. Suddenly, there was a distinct spinning sound and a large shuriken came hurtling towards him. He dodged in just in time and it dug into the ground. The girl appeared next to it, grabbed and it and ran away. But Cloud would not let her go. He chased after her through the trees until they reached the edge of the forest, the branches whipping against his face. They found themselves in a large field and she began to run towards Fort Condor. Cloud took an almighty jump and soared through the air, landing next to the girl and forcing his elbow into her back. She screamed and went flying, landing on her back in the grass. They both lay there for a moment, catching their breath.

_____"Man..." she wheezed. "I can't believe I lost..."
_____Cloud got up slowly and walked over to her, reaching out to help her up.
_____"You spikey-headed jerk!" she yelled, leaping to her feet. "One more time! Let's go one more time!"
_____"Not interested." Cloud said, turning away. The girl became furious and punched the air rapidly.
_____"Thinkin' of running away?" she asked. "Stay and fight! FIGHT, I said! C'mon, what's the matter? You're pretty scared of me, huh?"
_____"...Petrified." Cloud said sarcastically.
_____"Hmm, just as I thought." she grinned, not noticing the sarcasm. "What do you expect with my skills? Good luck to you too. If you feel up to it, we can go another round. Later!"
_____She spun on her heel and began to run away. When she saw that Cloud wasn't chasing her, she stopped and turned back to face him.
_____"I'm really gonna leave! REALLY!" she cried.
_____"Wait a second!" Cloud halted her. He ran closer to her and sheathed his sword.
_____"What is it?" she asked. "You still have somethin' for me? I know you want my help because I'm so good! You want me to go with you?"
_____"That's right." Cloud nodded, thinking that this teenage ninja could be a valuable addition to the team.
_____"Heh heh!" she chuckled. "Thought so! Hmm, what should I do? All right! I'll go with you!"
_____"Let's hurry on." Cloud said, and ran back into the forest where the others were waiting.
_____"Huh? Hey! HEY!" she yelled. "Wait! I haven't even told you my name! I'm Yuffie! Good to meetcha!"
_____She began to run after Cloud, then stopped and turned away.
_____"Heh heh, just as I planned..." she giggled. "Now all I have to do is a little this... and a little that... nyuk nyuk nyuk! Hey, wait up! Here, I'll give you back the money I stole from you! Or... uhh... what's left of it..."
