Scarlet, gold, run across the skies
Violet in clouds above the earth
Midnight descends and transcends
The day into a sky without light.
Stars hide beneath a cloak of black
Death, Nature's cruelest form
But without the dark shadow,
Life would be gone as well.
At noon, the powers of day climb high.
The sun rules in all his glory.
And at night, the moon whispers
Her dreams through the air, and
The world is hers.
Never is there so long a night
That there is no day, and
Never does the sun reign so long
That Good forgets the breath of Evil.
And now, though the darkness seemed so black,
As to never let in the dawn,
Lavender touches the flowers with dew,
And the sky brightens, slowly.
The sun is not up, but the moon is down
Sunrise, sunset.
Life embraces Death.
Light embraces Dark.
It has only just begun; yet
It has gone on for eternity.
They dance, forever.
