Communism and Why it Does and Doesn't Work

Some people say that we live in a socialist society but
in reality we don't. For one thing our society is divided up into 3 classes:

Lower(povert), middle, and upper. In communism or
socialism this is not the case, there are no classes,
everyone lives in colpete equality. Although there is much
poverty in communist countries, it doesn't necessarily have to be that way. The reason there is poverty in communism is as
follows:
All the money you earn is split up into and shared
equally among all the people. The problem is that some people
refuse to work, therefore not earning any money so no money goes to the community, thrusting the country into poverty.
This is obviously the main problem and the majority of the people you ask will say it is because of lack of
motivation. But this is the neat part: I'm sure the people
living in poverty don't like it very much, so heres the solution for the motivation problem: If the people who don't work
don't like living in poverty then they should WORK. If
this was the case then I'm sure communism whould be one of
the most prosperous forms of government. Except for the
second problem which might occur. This problem is greed. The
first half of the problem, when the above things happen,
should already be solved because if the people want more
money then they can just WORK HARDER. That way more money is
distributed out to everyone. He can also encourage his
friends to do so, increasing the amount of money distributed
even more. The second half might be a little
harder to solve. In communism there is a leader who, when the
community is running smoothly on its own, is supposed to step
down. The problem with this is that being the leader has
great appeal to it. For example: you have more money that
anyone else, you get more land, the bettter livestock, etc.
This problem can be solved quickly with a good leader
who steps down when he sees that the community is running
well on it's own, but if you have a greedy leader the only
way to eliminate him is through revolt. And since the leader
controls the armed forces that might be a potential
problem. Unless the community can sway the armed forces
towards their side, they're basically fucked. As far as I
know there is no way to solve this problem without losing
thousands of men and screwing over tons of families. So the
revolution will have to wait until there is one. I am not
saying you have to agree with me, especially since this
is all bases on theory, but I would like you to see the
appeal of living in unity and equality brought on by
communism.
