| Webmasters Note: Swords are the mainstay of Diablo II, since they create the imagery we all associate with high fantasy. The Headstriker can do incredible damage at high levels, and is a good choice for barbarian or Iron Wolves mercenaries. The Atlantean served my Paladin very well for a very long time, his Fanatism and Vengeance bringing the damage well up over three thousand. The Blade of Ali Baba may seem pathetic at first glance, but note the high Magic Find (1% per character level). In the hands of a high level character, this can get very high. If you are using Frenzy or double-swing on a Barbarian - you can double it. You can have almost 200% Magic Find just in your weapons! The Ethereal Swordguard currently resides on my level 81 Mercenary, who does nearly five thousand damage with it. |
