Step 7: Post Your Pages on the Web
The very last step when creating a web page is to put the pages on the web so that people can find your site and use it.
First you need to choose a service provider. A service provider is a web address that will host (show your pages) on the web. There are lots of excellent service providers like geocities.com
If you wish, you can pay a fee to get your own domain name. For example, I could pay a fee and get www.kathryn.com as my own domain.
The last step is to put all the HTML and text into the web editor. I used Geocities as my hoster. To do this with Geocities,is a piece of cake. You must put all the HTML, and text into the big box. At the top is a smaller box. You will put what you want your page to be called, ending with .html. Then all you need to do is click save and your pages are on the web!
Once your web pages are posted to the web, you should check them to make sure they look the way you want them to. Check that all the links work.
You have now created your very own web page! Great job!
