Step 3: Create the Text
The third step in making a web page is creating your text. This means writing out what you want your pages to say.
Use your information notes to help you write. Make sure that you edit your writing and keep the same tense.
Keep in mind that your web page will be more effective if you use short paragraphs with headings or bullets. If you use long paragraphs and have a lot of text, people will lose their place.
Always put the most important information first so that people can find it right away. Shorten the text by taking out all the parts that are not necessary.
Make sure you use words that people will understand. If you are using unfamiliar words, make sure that you define them.
