Present Status Of The Market And Future Anticipation

Technical rally which started right from the word go last week is likely to continue in this week and as happened last week i.e. high of last week (1072.00 & 3282.35) were higher than highs of the preceeding week (1071.50 & 3264.19) and lows of last week (1029.25 & 3148.57) were also higher than lows of the preceeding week (1020.10 & 3097.73), the same should happen this week - probable up target ranges are 1091.08 - 1092.10 & 3332.33 - 3350.05 which will be set as soon as indices on any day end close above 1072.00 & 3282.35 (last week's highs ) - in the meantime one should expect minimum up levels of 1072.00 & 3282.35 in this week; as far as support is concerned it should come in ranges 1039.93 - 1044.35 & 3168.25 - 3205.51.

Coming to discuss the deals recommended 'Online' during last 14 weeks (between 28th Feb 2002 & 6th June 2002 ) - we have recommended a total of 392 deals (360 on the buy side & 32 on the sell side) out of which 385 deals (378 deals of this period & 7 deals of previous period) have already been booked ( 98 % of these at profit) and N.A.V. has increased by more than 17% during this period while indices have declined by 7.66% on the average during the same period.

Please note that this is the account of a period in which indices have been declining and if we can achieve such reasonable results in this bearish period imagine as to what we can do during the period when indices rise.

1) SHORT TERM TREND (MINOR) :

It continues in ‘Neutral’ mode.

2) MEDIUM TERM TREND (INTERMEDIATE) :

It is giving indications of almost bottoming out. In last week 70 scrips have closed higher as compared to only 13 scrips in the preceeding week ( but av. rise per scrip at 4.97 % is lower than the av. rise per scrip of 5.94 % in the preceeding week) and only 35 scrips have closed lower as compared to 92 scrips in the preceeding week (av. fall per scrip at 2.72 % is also lower than the ave fall per scrip of 5.40 % in the preceeding week), out of 106 scrips we follow regularly;

Last week’s weekly A-D Data is indicating start of a slow technical rally.

3) LONG TERM TREND (MAJOR) :

Confirmation of long term bull phase requires only one more last condition to be fulfilled and that is that indices should go above important intermediate highs of 30th May 2001 which were 1207 .00 & 3760 .00.

4) REVIEW OF OUR 'ON - LINE RECOMMENDATIONS' OF LAST WEEK:

Last week, on the buy side 34 trades were recommended involving positions equivalent to 96. 25% of the capital (63.75 % on delivery basis) and profit booking was recommended in 35 trades (which included 6 deals of earlier weeks) involving positions equivalent to 105. 57 % of the capital (65. 10 % on delivery basis).

Average Position Per Boked Deal Works out to be - 3.02% of the capital (our target is 5.00%).
Average Profit Per Boked Deal Works out to be - 3.63 % (our target is 3.50%).
Booked Profit on Capital - 3.84 % (our target is 2.50%).

For Day Traders (10.06.2002)

We are giving below the Important Support and Resistance Levels of few most actively traded
scrips of NSE/BSE. The Support/ Resistance levels given are tested for their accuracy and it is
found that these (Sup. 1 & Res. 1 )are reliable only to the extent of 65%-75%.Traders are
advised to read the
'Disclaimer' and use their own judgement before making any trading decision.

FRESH RECOMMENDATIONS
For Extreme Short Term Investors/ Intra-Day Traders

BUYING

SELLING

The Short Term Trend continues to remain fluid. After testing previous bottom of 3100
on 3 occassions, Technicals had started giving indications of "Bottom Out" situation
but market is strongly influenced by various News/ Rumors relating to Indo-Pak border
situation. We have been advising conservative investors to stay away for some time
till situation stabilizes. We have been advising Trades also to remain low-profile
and control their volumes and use strict stop loss.
Many shares have broken down from various Bearish Patterns on
07.06.2002. We are giving herewith the list of such shares with
their Down targets. Investors may use anticipated 'Technical Rally'
to book profit to re-enter at lower levels.

INVESTORS/ TRADERS !

DO NOT MIX-UP YOUR INVESTMENT/TRADING STRATEGIES
ANY SHARE BULLISH FOR INTRA-DAY TRADING MAY BE BEARISH FOR
SHORT TERM BUT AGAIN BULLISH FOR MEDIUM TERM OR VICE-A-VERSA
