A little about me...

Me My name is Heather Kelly, I live in Edinburgh, Scotland, I'm 20 and about to go into my third year at the University of Edinburgh, where I'm studying computer science and physics. I've been doing art for about five years now but most of what you see here is from the last two. I took both Higher and then A-level art at school, since it was something I really enjoyed doing. After leaving school (June 2000) I've continued to draw and paint in my free time, and started trying computer art seriously for the first time.

I take inspiration from books, mainly science-fiction and fantasy, from music, lyrics and poetry, and from many of the artists at Elfwood. I've got an ideas list for pictures that always seems to expand at a much faster rate than I can actually create them... and of course they always look better in your head.

I like listening to loud music, reading comics and manga, watching anime, and I'm the librarian of Edinburgh Uni's Science-Fiction and Fantasy Society.
