Just don't ask for an explanation. There is one... sort of... but it takes forever.
The central guy's name is Sevoi (or Sevoi Metus Rachna in one incarnation).
I've not completely decided on the other two...
Oh, and the wings are constructed, hence the not-very-realistic look.
