CH Kalon's Everlasting Love

Chinese Cresteds are lovable little clowns that attract attention wherever they go. They are ideally 11-13" and come in two varieties, the Hairless and the Powderpuff. The Hairless has soft supple skin with long silky hair on the head, feet and tail, while the Powderpuff is completely covered with long silky hair. Either variety can be born in the same litter. Reasonable care must be taken with the skin of the Hairless. Lighter colored Hairless dogs can sunburn and some young dogs can go through a 'teenage' acne stage. While not a 'common' breed, today you can find Chinese Cresteds in the show ring, obedience ring, agility and other competitions.

Kalon's foundation Cresteds were imported from the famous Moonswift kennels of Diana Townsend in the United Kingdom. Kalon is the home of Am & Int'l CH Moonswift Kalon Krusader, Am & Int'l CH Moonswift Black Tie Affair, Am & Int'l CH Moonswift Aztec Emperor, CH Kalon's Everlasting Love, CH Kalon's Tip of the Iceberg - just to name a few.

Kalon's motto has always been Quality NOT quantity. Few litters are bred each year and health testing/screening is done. Therefore, puppies or adults are not always available and pet quality dogs are altered (spay/neutered) before leaving Kalon.
