| At the request of some of my friends and
many people I have met through the internet, I will write a personal
page about myself. Actually at this point in time, I am not sure what
I really want to say so I will just end this now. I am a Miwok tribal member. Miwoks are famous for the beautiful basket weaving. I have tried since I was a little girl to weave a good basket, but I finally gave up since everyone would laugh at my baskets. I have been making chokers out of bone, horn, glass and metal beads along with turquoise and other stones for 25 years. It should be noted that the Miwok basket was used for cooking. Below are
a couple of pictures of me. The first one was taken about 2 weeks ago
on November 13, 2005. The second one was taken on the Island of Catalina
with a good Tai' Chi friend in August of 2005. I guess I could say
that one of my passions is doing Tai' Chi every morning. I will continue
to add information as I think of it or if anyone has any requests, just e
mail me. I must say, I have really enjoyed the many people I have met
through the internet. |
