Anoushka was Glenda's wee girl and was absolutely besotted with her. She was the foundation of Kalnovitch Samoyeds, it was with her that our love affair with the Samoyed breed began. From Anoushka came the super-performing CH Kalnovitch Nova Katya, and it is with another Anoushka daughter, Czarda, that we are looking forward to the future. Unfortunately, Anoushka has been taken from us much too soon; at 12 and a half years young Anoushka was a stroke victim and her most recent stroke left her in pain. She was put to sleep in the arms of her Mum and went very peacefully. Anoushka had so many bizarre habits and rituals that it has been hard to adjust to life without her "Anoushka-isms" and she is so very much missed.
No more rummaging in my daughters bag after school/college/work, no more checking visitors for goodies, no more insane mindless barking mid evening and early morning, no more shredding of wallpaper, toilet paper, carpet, no more mad rush to the toilet for the empty cardboard rolls, no more raids on the fridge to help herself, no more ripping up of the kitchen floor, no more barking as the indicators in the car are used, no more snuffling under the doors to wake us up at some insane hour, no more snoring through the night, no more looks of glee as she snaffles herself a goodie and runs for it
