Kalnovitch Samoyeds is a small Samoyed kennel based in Dunedin, New Zealand.

We are a partnership between Mother (Glenda) and Daughter (Michelle) and we have been enjoying the exhibition of the Samoyed breed for just over twelve years.

Our Samoyeds are family members first and foremost, showdogs second. They all enjoy the comfort of inside living, and constant attention. Shih Tzu have also blessed a special part of our family and we are enchanted by this magical breed. Currently at home we have four Samoyeds and three Shih Tzu.

We are a rather diverse family, not only do we have Samoyeds and Shih Tzu, but we have two lovebirds - Clarence and Claudette; one cockatiel - Chester; four cats - Loki, Millicent, Cookie Monster and Camilla the Chicken. Pics will be up in the family section of them...shortly!

We are not prolific Samoyed breeders, preferring to breed only when we need something new to show. The following philosophy is what we stick to when we are breeding:
