If I can’t see the stars,

sparkle in your eyes.

Why listen to melodies,

If I can’t hear them,

sung by thee.

Why sleep and dream,

If I can’t wake,

and feel you next to me.

Why should my heart beat,

If it can’t beat

next to yours.

To live and learn,

to love and cherish,
