Sierra

Like the mountain high,

I watched her,

Never batting a eye.

Her hair golden,

Her face demure,

Her eyes shone bright,

like the midnight sky,

with star light

She stood there,

Dancing and swaying,

Moving to the beat,

I watched her transfixed,

I didn’t want to leave my seat

Her beauty was overpowering,

Her skin like faint silk,

Her body made the gods cry,

and I could hear it,

fall from the sky.

My imagination ran wild,

When we locked eyes,

And my heart,

held a quick sigh.

I watched, I waited,

It felt like a dream,

That I willed not to awake

I hoped for a chance,

To maybe,

Touch the skin of silk,

To feel it close to me..

Now I will wait

and see

if the dream, can be.
