My Northern Girl
There she sits,
In ice and snow
Trying to stay warm,
Trying to keep her glow
I wish I was there,
To feel her, to hold her,
To help her to bear,
Her troubles, pain joys & loves,
By the fire
We’d cuddle close
Just like two
Doves
Then as the snow falls,
And I know she is away,
I must, I can, I will,
Take the chance, find the way
And be with her,
Always.
