One ancestor Thommen in the Kallarackal family, Pallippuram, Cherthala, has two sons Varkey and Thommen. They have settled at Kumarakom and established two branches of Kallarackal Family there.
1.Kallarackal (Elanjiparambil Family), Kumarakom
(Thommen) Varkey established Kallarackal (Elanjiparambil Family. Thommen Varkey married Aley, Pottakkery (Manikkathu) Family, Perumanoor, Eramnakulam and settled at Kumarakom. This couple had five sons namely
. Thommen Thomas),
. Avirah (Abraham),
. Varkey (george),
. Outha (Joseph) and
. Chacko (Jacob)
They also had two daughters namely Mariam (Mary) and Thresia (Tresa). Among their sons Thommen, Outha and Chacko died at their young age.
. Elder daughter Mariam got married to Chenganda, Cherthala
. And younger daughter Thresia got married to Mr.Varkey, Pallipuram House,
Kongandoor, Ayarkunnam, Kottayam.
Descendants of Varkey Avirah and Varkey Varkey are living in Kumarakom and various cities of India and abroad.
The Kallarackal Family Jubilee Celebration (Christianization), held in 1952 July 3rd at Pallipuram, two representatives (Mr. Varkey Varkey and Mr. Thommen Thomas) from Kumarakom participated. In AD1954 Kallarackal Family at Kumarakom held a get together, and in that function (1) Rev. Valiayamathan Kathanar, (2) Chacko C. Kadavan, Madathil and (3) Thariathu Varkey Kandamkadavil from the Kallarackal Kadavil Family, Pallippuram was attended.
