| Born 24th February 2004 |
| Gd Ch. Lao Sabisha is a blue point lady and a new brood queen for our cattery.She is a lovely strong type with very nice blue colouring and she also has a straight profile with strong chin. As a blue pt she is already displaying the "naughtiness" that seems to accompany being blue. That's if our Pharaya is anything to go by!! Sabisha, very importantly, brings to our cattery some strong outcross lines that will continue to allow us to provide strong healthy kittens to our siamese customers. Many Many thanks to Jacques and Elizabeth Grenot for allowing us to have her. Stay watching this webite for kittens that Sabisha and Outback produce - seal, blue or chocolate (????). |

| Another exciting new addition!! Lealjo Delly is a chocolate point who is very similar in type to Sabisha. Strength visibly & genetically will ensure that we produce strong robust kittens. Delly has a fantastic nature with a very loud purr and just loves to curl up and knead her paws. Our thanks and congratulations to Joan Wright for allowing us to have Delly. We are excited with the prospects of what a mating with our Outback can produce - chocolate only but the type and nature should be really good!! |

| No Surprise here that Kalinya Shabou's Magic has remained with us!! After the struggle & fight that he endured to stay alive and the endless hours of feeding and dedication that "Mum" Bev provided to Shabou it was inevitable that the bond could not be broken and that Shabou stay with us. He is a seal pt male who will be neutered. We are convinced that he believes he is a human not a cat and many of his characteristics enhance this belief. The "cross-eyes" that he was born with remind us all that he is Siamese !! Shabou now earns his keep by being not only Bev's bodyguard but also the protector of our backyard. Just try coming in to the yard whilst Shabou is patrolling !! If ever a boy was spoilt - this one is !! |

| Meet our latest addition, Ch. Kalinya Thomasina. Thankfully a very caring person located our cattery when they became the carer for Thomi after she had been in a home that didn't really appreciate her for what & who she was - a chocolate point Siamese !! When collecting her from the carer (July 6th 2007) we found that she was still entire and had not been desexed as previously intimated. A health check the next day by our vet confirmed that Thomi had to have surgery on an abdominal hernia after which she would be able to breed. With such a wonderful nature (obviously glad to be back home), Bev & I decided to keep her with us here at Kalinya. THOMI, being due 18th October 2008 & looking of a size to produce 5 - 6 kittens has had the misfortune of requiring a caesarean Oct 25. Surprisingly there was only 1 kitten which as strong as he appeared could not gain weight nor body temperature & passed away on Day 5. We made the decision to have Thomi spayed whilst under anaesthetic as this was operation number 3 for her,& enough is enough. She will now enjoy a life of leisure, mischief & promoting our Cattery in the wonderful ownership of a Siamese. |
