| Nearly in Our Hands.
To want so bad one can nearly taste it. It seeming forever out of reach. A trial to push on every day. Unknown the weight to each. Near madness, complete the loneliness, pure lust, complete the soul. Near dream breeds pure ambition, true love thats taking hold. Stolen moments for a stolen kiss, want and vision defy reality. Forever the wait to eternally hold heart beats rhythm the state at be. Clouds pass by in dual perception we smell the moisture on the air. will we embrace to then compare? Are you really my age or am I older? Time echoes between blinks of ones eye. Relaxed, yet focused, yet tense, but unwound, between feelings between you and I. Hormones pushing the parameter of thought to places beyond our dreams. To lay on the table or lay on the bed. Like two patterns upon future seams. Planted and growing, unknown is the flower, that tears and breaks the soil. Under the surface the roots growing deeper gaining strength over the past hearts oil. That fuel that kept us going, From so much of loves death and pain. Bringing us closer to the same oasis, Slowly growing together, not to thirst again. My blood in your veins and your blood in mine, We shall blend each other into one. Too late to stop the rain as a drop, Refilling an ocean has begun. Will it separate or quicker bring us together? This thing that we both need? Partaking is mutual, so nearly rationed in sharing, thus filling in action and deed. My mind dines on your every company as a feast in the moments we share. Time rearranging our very fibers, the very quilt will need us there. Together we seem a tapestry, of our many colored strands. As one we change, not the world, but a home, if we hold each other within our hands. Copyright Phalegra 2006 (TJB) |
