Puppy dogs with tails that wag
Kittens curled up in the sun
Flowers nodding in the garden
Makes my world so much fun
It�s magic.............
Mama cooking in the kitchen
Soup and bread and cookies too
She lets me have a little nibble
Then says there�s much to do

Daddy is busy in the yard
There are always lots of chores
He whistles while he does his work
He says he�s never bored
It�s magic............
When it�s time to go to bed
Mama says I need plenty of rest
She tucks me, gives me a kiss

I listen to all the noise at night
Then wonder what they are
In my room without the light
I�m too afraid to go too far
The monsters name is always �it�
He�s here when day is done
I snuggle deep into my blanket
To wait for the morning sun
One night I�ll jump out of my bed
To see this monsters face
Tonight I�ll say where it�s safe instead
And just listen to him pace
Tomorrow I�ll be brave for sure!
I think as I drift off to sleep.
Funny, that sounds just like a purr
And is that four little feet?
The monster hiding in the gloom
Is no monster after all!
Just the cat playing in my room
And chasing after her ball .
