Female
Gold
Golds are the largest dragon in the Weyr; they are the queens. They are always female and impress only females. They never chew firestone. They can produce clutches as large as 60 eggs.
Silver
Silvers are about the size of a brown. They are always female and always impress females. Some chew firestone and some do not. Those that do not chew firestone may produce small clutches, typically consisting of no more than 10 eggs.
Green
Greens are the most common female dragons in the Weyr. They are always female and impress both genders. They are slightly smaller than blues. They always chew firestone and never clutch.
Scarlet
Scarlets are the same size as greens. They are always female and typically impress females, however, on some occasions they will impress males. They always chew firestone and never clutch.
Male
Bronze
Bronzes are tied for the second largest male in the Weyr. They are always male and always impress males. They are capable of flying any female in the Weyr.
Brown
Browns are smaller than bronzes but larger than silvers. They are always male and always impress males. They typically fly silvers and lower, though on rare occasions they will try for the larger females.
Blue
Blues are smaller than browns though larger than greens. They are always male and typically impress males, however, on some occasions they will impress females. They fly silver and lower.
Gray
Grays are the same size as blues. They are always male and typically impress males, however, on some occasions they will impress females. They fly silver and lower.
Neutral
Black
Black females are the second largest female dragons in the Weyr. They are about the size of a bronze. Black females impress only females. They may or may not chew firestone. If they do not chew than they may clutch. Typically their clutches are around 25 eggs.
Black males are the same size as bronzes. They impress only males. They may fly any female dragon in the Weyr.
Copper
Copper females are around the size of browns, though sometimes they grow larger. They may or may not chew firestone. If they do not chew firestone they are capable of producing clutches of around 20 eggs. Copper females only impress females.
Copper males are about the size of browns, though they sometimes grow larger than that. They are capable of flying any female in the Weyr, though for the most part they stick to copper and lower.
Coppers are extremely rare and impress only HADs.
Albino
Albino females are the smallest dragons in the Weyr. They chew firestone and therefore do not clutch. Albino females may impress from either gender.
Albino males are the smallest male dragons in the Weyr, being only slightly larger than their female counterpart. They typically fly greens and lower. They may impress from either gender.
Albinos are also quite rare.
