As the World Ended - I Brushed my Hair

As the World Ended - I Brushed my Hair
The bombs that fell in ones and pairs,
Out to prove that they are right,
Turning day to dark of night.

Smoke and dust block out the Sun,
It seems this war is never done.
There is no life, there is no birth,
It seems that Death walks on this Earth.

I look around and see the world.
The sight would make most grown men hurl.
Every home in ruins, everything is lost,
Our world is gone, with tremendous cost.

I came face to face with destiny
And I can't describe what I have seen
I just finish my hair, and set down my brush
As the end of the world goes by in a rush.
