Thoughts of Gramps

I'll admit, gramps,
that I have spent a lot of time
coming to grips with you leaving,
but when I did realise
that the celebrations
we will have when,
you, me, mum and dad,
nan, and Paul,
plus the rest of the family
are together again,
then we will see how you have led this
family and given it the shape it holds.

Miss yas grandad. Miss yas heaps!
