Travels: America - December 1997

	Well this is the page for my travels to the USA that happened in December when I went back to the U.K. for 6 weeks - staying in Newark, Chicago, and Tampa for 6 days total. I must say thanks to Randy, Mario, David, Dana, Gary, Scott, Josh and the other guys who were such wonderful hosts and friends when I was there! I have commenced the scanning, and the first few pictures are here. There are bigger versions of them available by clicking the image.
	Before I left Australia I stopped in Sydney for 7 hours, and met Victor (on the left) and Stephen (on the right). These guys are friends I have made on the IRC channels. Stephen lives in the Blue Mountains, a beautiful area of Australia. These two men are wonderful, they are very willing to spend time and listen as well as share time with their friends.
	On the trip through the USA in December 1997, I met Mario (BigNHairy on IRC) for the first time. This lovable man is big in stature and big in heart. his sense of humour is great to be around, as you can see from the T-Shirt he is wearing. I stayed overnight with Mario before heading to Chicago to meet Joshua (JSS) for the first time.
	After Chicago was the leg to Tampa to see Dana whilst he was working down there. In the daytime I had arranged to meet the likes do Randy and also David. The picture on the left is of Randy and his partner Dwight. They are wonderful guys with lots of character between them. Randy was a gentleman and took me to the Dali Museum in St.Petersburg. This was a tremendous experience, and it confirmed to me that I did like Salvador Dali's work. Some of them are huge canvasses, and others small illustrations.

	My hosts for the final night in Tampa was David and Gary, pictured here. I have been talking to David since I started IRC. He is a lovely guy with such a huge heart. I can say that the two guys have a lot of love to share with their friends. I am glad I finally got to meet David and thank him for standing by me when I was going through the trials of coming out to myself. Plus he has been a steady mind during the problems of 1997 when I got back to Australia.
