So you have already read my WELCOME and learned something about this site, now you’ll also learn something about myself…

Well I am Elizabeth and I am from the Philippines…. Yep that’s my picture…taken so many years ago. I actually scanned that from my photo album since I thought it to be real cute J! That tree is now a big tree and definitely I have grown too.

I am an Audit Manager in one of the biggest footwear chain in my country. Funny though that even if my company sells shoes, I don’t really get to buy ladies shoes from it since I have big feet!!!

Hmmm… I am sure you are imagining a clown with the mention of big feet J! Well…don’t!!!

I don’t look in any way like a clown… My feet maybe big… actually not really big but long… but they are definitely balanced with my body since I am tall!

I am quite tall for a Filipina J, maybe a head taller than most Filipinas and even taller than most guys here so I literally stand out in a crowd J!

I actually like being tall and I really cannot imagine how I would feel if I was smaller. Oftentimes people would tell me “Wow! hope I can have a little of your height” and I would smile and say “kulang pa nga eh!” meaning I want more J! Well I don’t really want more, I think my height is just about right for me… just right for my big feet…hehehe!

To my

KALEIDOSTHOUGHTS

Hi there! I have prepared this site for my buddies but everybody can read through the pages and I hope you enjoy them as I enjoyed preparing them.

If you are not one of my buddies, then you’ll probably wonder just what this site is. It is unusual title for a page, right? I am sure you won’t find it in the dictionary since I made it up myself… “KALEIDOSTHOUGHTS”… it is random thoughts for my buddies!

It came up to me when I put together the things I have been writing an online buddy… I was thinking that the things I have been writing him have been so varied just like the patterns you find when you take a peek in a kaleidoscope… and the things I wrote were usually things that come to mind at the moment… really random thoughts! I thought the words felt right when put together… I am sure you’ll agree with me too J!

Anyway, I am not really a writer but you know how it is when you chat with someone over the NET… you type the words that come to your mind… you type it almost the way you say it…sometimes the thought I want to tell my buddy was too long to say in a chat box or something would come to mind which I would like to share with him but he would not be around at that particular moment so instead I wrote these thoughts and send through email. They were just occasional emails until one time my buddy told me that I was a natural writer…What??? Me… a natural writer??? The only things I wrote were audit reports and the letters to my father when he was abroad plus occasional letters to other friends and relatives. Now someone tells me I was a natural writer… my ego skyrocketed J!!! Well fortunately it followed the law of gravity and went down again but my hands began to have a mind of its own! It started longing to type more mails to my buddy… my buddies J… I even say that my hands speak better English than my lips can… hehehe…

My first series of Kaleidosthoughts was only addressed to my two online buddies – Bud and Pete. Bud told me I was a natural writer which encouraged me to write but it was Pete that continuously “nagged” me (well don’t worry for it was a loving kind of nag… hehehe, right Pete?) to write for a bigger audience… so after I ended my series to them, I started a new series to more buddies… a bigger audience as Pete wanted but still people that are close to my heart. I have called this new series as KALEIDOSTHOUGHTS TOO (random thoughts for more buddies) but Pete calls it Kmail J! It is this second series that I am compiling and will continue to update since I try to bug…hmmm I mean writeJ my buddies twice a month. It is my way of being connected to people who have somehow touched my life… a way of saying thank you for being my buddy!

FLOWERS BY THE ROADSIDE…

When you see a flower, then maybe think of me since I am NUTS about flowers… nope not those glorious and beautiful flowers like the roses and orchids but simple flowers you see by the roadside…

Well…I don’t go picking them up for they are not really flowers you put in a vase to adorn your home or give to someone special…they are actually flowers to be appreciated where they are…

I really like looking at them… seeing them where they are… even in a dusty road!!! Seeing one puts a smile on my face and makes my heart light for they remind me of HOPE and life’s beauty! They always break the monotony of the road I am traveling in.

So when you see a flower by the roadside, then maybe just like me… SMILE and THINK that it is a wonderful world!
