Restless
A restless spirit roams this life
No place feels as it should
Heart and mind lost alike
Not finding
Just winding
Along paths  she feels she should

Lost has no meaning
Just the same as found
Neither fills the emptiness
Not crying
Just smiling
As the world swirls around

Cruel twists of fate
Things going as they ought
Nothing can phase her soul
Not daring
Just faring
Always knowing thats her lot

She sheltered with me through a storm
And in a rare moment of delight
We loved one another
Not paring
Just caring
Making forever from that night

I knew she could never stay
Her winding trails called
It was written on her face
Not showing
Just knowing
Though she warmed these halls

Ever after I shall miss her
But never mourn that we did part
For that was the fate she chose
Not daring
Just faring
For restless was her heart
