August 13

I watched the films for the finals today, and there were some, ahem, interesting comments about the games/maps. And you know what I say about those comments? Screw you. I wasn't getting paid for this. It took a lot of time and effort. I can't believe some of you would love this tournament when you are winning and then complain and call me a "wwii raid unimapper" etc. Bah.

August 12

OK, well I was going to watch the films today but the only ones that worked were the ones for bracket 1 of Round 3. Therefore, if anyone else saved them, please send them my way.

August 10

Final standings:
1. RARR EATS MOOO! ! ! !
2. All in the Family
3. San-Kuan
4. PoOp
5. Triple Nipple
6. Feti
I'd have to say that anyone who made it to the final round kicks major ass, but I guess RARR kicks the most ass :) Great job to all teams. Stay tuned in case I have more information to give. Oh yeah and I don't have films for Game 1 of the third round.

August 3

Well, I just found out today that I'll be in Washington, D.C. from tomorrow until some time next week. Doh, sorry guys. I know I'll get flamed nicely for this one. Good luck to the final ten teams and alternates.

August 2

OK I don't have to quit until school starts so I'll be there for the tourney and other times.

August 1

The final round will be played immediately after Round 3. Maps for the finals are posted. Oh yeah, and I quit Myth, so you guys are on your own here. I'll be sure the prizes are recieved though, and I will continue to maintain this site. Good luck to the final ten teams. The Final Round works like this: After the first three games, the team with the lowest score is eliminated. After the fourth game, the lowest scoring team gets eliminated again. I could have had more games for the final team, but that's a lot of Myth for one day, I think.

July 29

Also, having the fallback time on Friday was a bad idea. The fallback time is Saturday at 1 pm Central. I know people will still complain, but that's the way it is. Having a fallback time on Friday and late at night was unfair, and I realized that. This is the final time.

July 29

Please guys, if you can play tomorrow (Sunday) at 1:30 pm Central it would probably be the best time. Please respond ASAP by emailing me or on the forum.

July 28

… Even though I have said all along that if you can't make a 10-2 game time you shouldn't sign up, you guys signed up anyway. And I want all of you to be able to play since you have made it this far. Therefore, you all will have to schedule the time. The fallback is this Friday at 6 pm Central. Work it out using the forums. I am taking no part in the scheduling from now on.

July 27

More news today… I thought Morbias had a great idea when he suggested having a dorfball tourney. So that is taking place right after Saturday's matches. Anyone can come; You don't have to be a qualifying team to play. I'm not sure how it will work just yet but it's gonna be kinda fun I hope. It will be one day only.

July 27

New rule: All matches will start by 1:35. If you come later than that you can play the next games. There will be no waiting five more minutes for teams or stalling for your partner. Oh yeah and be sure to put it on Legendary when you host.

July 26

Brackets are up. Check the rules section for the new scoring and the games for this week. The downloads section has all the maps needed; I think I picked some pretty damn good ones this time. Alternates: If you don't show up, it's OK, but if one of the teams doesn't come and you play in their place, you can advance. The top 6 teams here will go to the finals. That's 3 from each bracket for you non-rocket scientists. Sorry this is a late update but I was gone again. The new game time is above.

July 15

Well brackets are up. To end the chaos of Round 1, I am letting all teams who showed up advance except Agent 006's team, for various reasons. I also put up the films of Round 1. There are lots of good ones there; the River of Life ones were especially good. Thanks to all who played in Round 1. I will make sure that everythink in Round 2 is much smoother. Also, the essential plugins for Round 2 are in the plugins page. If you didn't notice, the games are on the rules page. There's a new poll... the final results for the game time poll were:

noon central (8) 29%
evening central (11) 40%
really late central (4) 14%
Waaaa! I lagged too much in the first round! I quit! (2) 7%
Sunday (2) 7%
Total: 27 votes.

I'm gone til Thursday. See ya.

July 14

Since Bungie.net will be down this weekend, I'm hosting tomorrow (Friday) on TCP/IP. I'm starting and around 11 central and ending it whenever I don't feel like playing anymore. You can thank me later.

July 11

Well, it looks like it will be impossible to play the matches this weekend, so Round 2 will be delayed until the 22nd. While the Bungie servers are inactive, I will be hosting TCP/IP random FFAs and 2-teams. My IP Address is:
24:163:70:168. If you have a good connection and want to host, put your IP address in the forum. We won't let the server moving get in the way of Myth.
July 10
I must say, there were some very interesting matches. Thanks to all who showed up and played. This week's games are up in the rules section; take a gander. There is also an all-important poll. Be sure to check that out. This will run much more smoothly this week, I can assure you. Brackets will be up when I can figure everything out. Links to the plugins will be up shortly, although you can easily find them via The Mill.

July 6

Brackets are up. Hosts, please be sure to put the Game number in your title. Sorry that I couldn't get all 48 teams so we could have full games. Some admins will be wearing the (CNH) tag, but others will not. Please conduct yourselves in a suitable manner or you will be thrown out. Have fun playing, and I'll see you guys on Monday.
July 5
OK, here's the deal. I just found out I'm going to be out of town this weekend, leaving Thursday night. What this means is: Tomorrow is the last day you can sign up; otherwise, it's impossible for me to do the brackets. Game time is decided at 12 central on this Saturday the 8th. Please be there about 5 minutes early so you can find a host and get settled. The top 3 teams from each game will go on to the next round. Thanks for playing, and I can't wait to watch all 30 films on Monday!

July 4

Sorry about yesterday and the night before. I knew Geocities would jinx me somehow… Geocities had problems with some of their servers, the one with this page included. Sorry about that, and I hope it won't happen again. We have 37 teams now, so only 11 spots remain. Sign up quick if you're going to!

June 30 again!

Wow, more news in the same day! I got the blue bar for B.net. Thanks Mordia! I've also received word from a reliable source that there will be prizes as well. I'd be peeing my pants if I wore any!

June 30

Good news: Teams are up, and I've added a forum. Enjoy!

June 28

I finally got my link on the bungie.net page, and the entries are coming in. Already entered are teams from MoR, gtm, and many others. This looks promising! However, it looks like we'll have to wait until next Saturday to start the first round of play. Thanks to all who have signed up thus far.

June 25

Registration has begun! I really hope we can get at least 12 damn teams. In other news, I'd just like to say that I have no HTML experience whatsoever, so this page will be kept to the bare essentials only. I know Geocities is lame, and the popup is annyoying. Sorry.
