This is from a dear friend. She has a beautiful soul and is a treasure to have in my life. I thought this poem was so beautiful and I am honored that she let me post it here.
THIS NIGHTGOWN I AM IN
I'd like to send you pictures of this nightgown I am in, made of pale blue satin as it lays against my skin. Along the bodice and the edges it has a lot of lace, and it's got a couple ribbons that help hold it in place. I really would prefer though and I think you would agree that it would be a lot more fun if you were here with me. You would take me in your arms you'd see how good it felt, just like I do, when you do, those things that make me melt.
Perhaps you wouldn't notice how the slit ran up my thigh, then again, perhaps you would, I thought I heard a sigh. You could kiss my shoulders softly, and then untie the bows, and let the gown fall to the floor, leaving me exposed. Laying on the bed, throughout the night time we could play, and wake up in the morning bed and hair in disarray. I wish you could be here tonight, to see this gown I'm in, to see just how it looks on me before the games begin?
