Miscellaneous Gaming Sites

Project Aon - Dedicated to making the works of gambook author Joe Dever available online
Richard Weld's CCG Archives - A fascinating site dedicated to the history of the earliest CCGs
Home of the Underdogs - An exhaustive archive of the milestones of electronic gaming.
L5R Undernet Chat - Find out how to chat about L5R on IRC #undernet. I am there like all the time.
Temple of Lore - The center of the online Warlord community.
Top Runner's Quarterly - Sadly most of what's left of the online Netrunner community.
The Short Circuit - Another wonderful Netrunner site that I recently discovered.
DGMA - Just about the only place I found that has useful Lord of the Rings CCG strategy discussion.
Mechwarrior Realms - The best resource for Mechwarrior players on the internet. Also a portal to other gaming communities like hcrealms and vsrealms.
Kwyjibo Cards - My favorite vendor for hard to find (non- Magic) CCG and collectable miniature singles. Jeff's prices are hard to beat!
Tolen Mar - Website of a fellow gamer. Not too much content, but he hosts a lot of rulebooks and spoilers for discontinued games and I enjoy reading his weblog.

Books and Authors

Nancy Kress - Author of Beggars in Spain.
Michael Stackpole - Core author of the Classic Battletech universe.
R. R. Martin - Author of A Song of Ice and Fire, one of current fantasy's best series.
Adam Cadre - Author of Ready, Okay and famous author of Interactive Fiction. Adam attended the same high school and college as I did, and the setting of the book is my high school. Weird, huh?
