The air in the throne room crackled with energy. A large hole, that seemed to tear through all reality, opened up in the center of the room. A man, dressed in black with blonde hair, was thrown from the hole. He landed on one knee, breathing heavily. The two armed guards closest to him charged. He stood and caught both spears, spinning the guards into each other. Two more guards attacked him, proving to be not enough. "Wait!" The king yelled. "But sire..." A guard started. "He does not mean us harm." "How can you tell?" "Because, you are all still alive." The strange intruder dropped the spear he was holding, "Where am I?" "You do not know where you are?" The king asked amused. "No, I did not travel through that hole of my own free will." He said pointing to the fast closing hole. "I see. Well strange traveler, you are in Terrania. More specifically, The Castle on High." "No, it's not possible." "Oh?" "If this is the castle, then you must be..." "Right, I am Hitori Furze: King of Terrania." "It was me..." The man muttered. "What may we call you?" "Call me Densetsu." ------------------------------ Densetsu had become an inhabitant of the castle and a member of the army. He soon began training the prince in the ways of magic. For three years he stayed in the castle. The prince had become very adept in the ways of magic. One day the castle was attacked by seven mages, calling themselves Mages of Destruction. The castle guards fought bravely, but in the end were defeated. "Don't go Densetsu." The prince pleaded. "I have to. Do not worry, I have taught you all you will need to survive future encounters." With that, Densetsu walked outside. The mages all began chanting spells as Densetsu walked out of the castle. The mages cast their spells, but all were deflected by Densetsu. Everything they threw at him was swatted away like a fly. Five of the mages cast the strongest elemental spells they could muster, while the other two combined their efforts. Densetsu reflected the elemental spells back at the casters, almost killing them. However, while he was distracted, the other two mages had created a hole in reality. "You taught him." Densetsu said before being sucked in. As the hole began to close, tendrils of pure darkness snaked from Densetsu's hands. The tendrils wrapped around the two casters, pulling them into the hole. All others on the battle field were sucked in as well. The hole closed, sealing it's victims inside. No one ever saw them again... that is until the War of the Sorcerers.
