Journal entry #2: PP&J Process Analysis
I open my heavy refrigerator door and of course first, unconsciously reach for the bread. Always the bread first then, I place the bread on the table and reach back in the cold vacuum for the jelly. My peanut butter is of course not in the refrigerator so I have to close the refrigerator door open the pantry closet reach down and pull out the peanut butter. Finally as I have all of my ingredients on the kitchen counter, I twist the twister that is fastening the bread I grab the 2nd and 3rd pieces in because the first could have mold on it. Then as I lay the bread on 2 napkins, I open the draw, and reach for a knife. Then I quickly unscrew the Jiffy Jar and jam my knife into the sea of mud. After removing a pile of sludge I slap in onto my bread, I do this procedure twist so to cover both pieces of bread edges and all in peanut butter. I pick up the sticky covered bottle of jelly and pop it open. I slowly and cautiously squeeze an inch of jelly onto both pieces of bread, enough to balance at the peanut butter. I take my knife and smear the jelly on either piece of the bread. Lastly I quickly squish both pieces together as to not lose any ingredients in the middle. Finally I place the sandwich on the table and cut a smooth slice in the middle. I stand back and look at my accomplishment.
