Fairly plain, traditional Japanese building, clean, safe, no school uniform, Iruka Sensei works there (possibly the nicest imaginary teacher in the world)
Ok- it's a castle- that's pretty darn cool, however-
Dangerous moving staircases
surrounded by dangerous tree, dangerous forest
contains various dangerous rooms- honestly it's a miracle if you make it past your freshman year
creppy housekeeper
haunted by spirits (some of whom are highly annoying and spy on the young boys taking baths)
staffed by a load of incompetents
school manages to hire at least one teacher annually who is homicidal, psychotic, completely disgusting or all of the above (screening process anyone?)
