I once knew a prince.
He came to us a short time,
But left us with a gift,
that will last a lifetime.
God let us have him
For a short time.
But what lives in our hearts
will last a lifetime.
He was a gift from the Lord above.
We know he was an angel from above.
Everyday when the sun comes up,
If you look to the sky,
You will see Rance's smile,
Go on for miles and miles.
And when the sun goes down,
Remember he's an angel up above.
