Today was very busy.  Sorry I couldn't get here to post.  It also was a very BAD day health- wise.  Let's just say if there was a pot of gold for the person that ate the most cookies - I would have won hands down!  So in light of that fact:

What I shoved in my face:
Breakfast (3.5)
1 c honey bunches of oats 2.5
1/2 c 1% milk 1

After this I really lost track of what I was eating and ate far too much!!

Boy did I shop last night!  Spent too much time and $$$ in Bath and Body Works.  Got some lovely new salt scrubs and bubble baths.  Found some great new Easy Spirit walking shoes. They have bubbles in them!  Little bubble like things in the bottom that feel really good on the old tootsers!  I also picked up some great walking socks that have extra padding in the ball and heel of the foot as well as have a special snug fit around the middle of the foot so they won't slide on me!  There's more...I found another pair of cream colored dress shoes.  I've been looking for about 2-3 years and haven't found what I liked.  you see I need a wide width and either the shoes didn't fit me right or it wasn't the season for cream colors any more!  I think I will continue shopping at J.C. Penny's for shoes!  If they don't have wide width in stock you can order them through the catalog and sitll get sale price.  To top it off, I stopped at Gloria Jean's Gourmet coffes.  Whew!  That was a workout in itself!
All else was fine!  Had a great day OP!  Day 1 down!  On to day 2.  Someone has brought in treats and despite my best efforts to deter them from putting all the treats directly across from me, there they sit!  I will NOT have one!  Then I forgot my lunch, but I carefully sat down and figured out what I can have from the cafeteria and still stay OP.  So here goes -

What I shoved in my face:
Breakfast (7)
egg beater 1
Morning Star sausage 1
FF cheese 1
english muffin 2
skim milk 2

Snack (2)
small box cheerios 1
1/2 carton skim milk 1
THERE ARE LOTS OF YUMMY ROLLS & MUFFINS IN THE BREAKROOM!  People are ruthless!  I am NOT going to have any!

Lunch (5)
BIG salad w/ ff dressing and a tid of cheese and seeds 2
Baked lays 3
creme saver 0

Snack (1)
apple 1

Dinner (5)
1 1/2 c Zataran's red beans & rice 3

2 1 pt chocolate chip cookies 2

LIFETIME
March 14, 2000
My journal entry today will be a little different than usual.  I am dedicating my journal today, as well as my efforts this week in my weight loss journey,  to a friend, Kim L. and her family.  They have suffered a terrible tradgedy this last week, losing many loved ones in a terrible car accident.  My prayers are with you and "This one's for you!".

For the next week I will be putting daily updates for what I shove in my face and how I move my butt!  I may also throw some comments in depending on how I feel that day, but each day will not have a full blown entry like usual.

How I moved my butt:  walked 2.5 miles, walked another 45 minutes outside, abs toning and yoga for the lower body (some shopping at the mall too! :) )

Things are going well at home.  Morgan is learning new stuff everyday!  Continues to keep us on our toes!  Tomorrow is the first official day of class so I'm a little worried about how much time I'll have after this!  Yikes!

I had a rough day yesterday and had about with some chocolate and lost.  That's alright though.  I took a nice long bath, ate some more lol! and then went to bed - thank God!  I have set a new goal for myself.  By Easter I want to be at my personal goal of 135 lbs.  This is 6.4 lbs to go and to some that may seem like a piece of cake, but its not for me!  I have 35 days to do this and my track record in this last leg of the journey is not anywhere near 1.066666 lbs. per week.  Some weeks I loose that much, but others not.  I know why for the most part - because I haven't been OP 100%.  So I joined a forum at G2G web site called the streakers.  The object is to see how long you can go OP.  I have to make 35 days!  Will be a tough one, but I CAN do it!

I have it!!!  THE GOLDEN KEY IS MINE!  lol  Yes, I have the golden lifetime key added to my key chain and it looks mighty fine!  It was a wonderful moment.  I was happy to share about how in the last couple of months it has become not about changing the outside, but about changing the insude.  Indeed journaling has helped.  I have identified areas that I didn't know about or didn't want to face.  From there I can make plans to overcome those areas.  Anyway, dh and Morgan were there.  Almost the whole time I was up front, Morgan was taking toys from other kids and begging food off others!  Everyone was laughing at her.  She is sooo funny!  Well, I was able to sell the rest of my pre-pay coupons.  That is one of the best things!  I never will pay again!

So do I feel any diferent?  I don't think so.  Because as I said in the meeting, I will always have issued with food no matter how much I weigh.  But as I go along my journey, I discover more things about myself and ways I can go about dealing with those issues!  All of you have a grand afternoon and take some well deserved time to just rest!  Just rest your body and pat it on the back for all the hard work it does for you!  Now I'm off to start thinking about my Lifetime reward on Sat. Hmmmm...my footsers will thank me! :)
