Another day, another chance! What a way to start out a day, knowing I have another chance. Yes, I was not on program most of this weekend. I did OK Sat. night on our "night alone on the town", however it could have been better. The real trouble started at breakfast. I didn't see anything low-fat on the menu except fruit! I was in a quandry about what to order. Hubby suggested I get whatever I want and then have popcorn for dinner that night. Good idea! Wrong! I did get what I wanted, loaded with fat and probably my whole day's points (I never did figure them!). As soon as I did that, I couldn't stop eating the rest of the day. Boy was my tummy sick that night! I sat on the couch like a blob. I couldn't believe I did that. Wow! I'm glad I'm not like that anymore! Today, I have started back on program and feel much better already. We did have a very good time though and Morgan did fine at Grandma's! Wish we could do that every weekend! Back to reality and our hectic lifestyle. The biggest adventure now is finishing the basement. Very hard on the finances. We are also gearing up for Morgan's 1 year birthday party. It will be a costume party for the kids. Lots of work getting ready. Expecting 30-40 people! Well, off to take a nice peaceful walk....in the fog!!! Very foggy here! Remember, if you want to get to your destination, you have to get back on the wagon to go anywhere!

Hello to everyone! It is such an absolutely gorgeous day here! I can't believe it! It's like summer again and I'm stuck in this silly office building! Oh well! Went to my meeting and lost over 1/2 lb.! Amazing! Not too bad all said and done with the bad day and a half off program and it is my TOM. Next week will be big numbers! Last night we bought a t.v., surround sound system, VCR and a couple movies for Morgan. We got up to the check out and found out the deal wasn't no payments no interest till 2002, it was just no interest. Yes, there are payments! Hubby should have read the ad better - whoops! Somehow we will scrape up the money each month. It was all stuff we needed. Our other t.v. conked out before we moved and the VCR is on its last leg. Also, the dogs now have to be inside when we are gone because the neighbors complained about barking. All the work and money on that fence! Dumb dogs! Anywho, my personal challenge this week is to exercise everyday for an hour and do abs and arm toning every other day. Also, I am making a committment to weigh and measure everything this week! Soemtimes we need to push ourselves and make committments that take extra effort. If we don't create a drive within ourselves to meet our goals, who will????? Have an OP kinda day!

Hello again! Welcome to a new week and a new beggining! I had a pretty good week. I did something that helped change my focus. I set a couple of goals for myself and focussed on them instead of food! I tend to think a lot about food. What I'm going to eat, when etc. This week I set a goal to excercise everyday for an hour, with toning every other day. Also, I set a goal to measure everything and be honest about it! I am proud to say that yesterday I met the goal for excercise! It was a rough road, but I did it and it helped change my focus for the week. I am still working on the measuring goal. I've actually found that when I measure things, sometimes I get more to eat than I thought I should have. Imagine that! Well, my birthday went well. I had a manicure and a haircut and did some shopping. I got to spend a lot of time with Morgan this weekend because hubby was working. We did some shopping, went on a long walk and a bike ride. She was very good all weekend but didn't want to nap! Go figure! I am still in disbelief that she will be one in 3 days! We went to visit a co-worker that had a baby this past Thurs. (my B-day) and the memories came flowing back! Oh how they grow! This week will bring new challenges and new goals! I will set my goal to exercise everyday with out a time limit this time. Only because I know it will be nearly impossible to do an hour with her B-day party and all coming up. I will still get my exercise in! It's raining today so I hope it clears up by lunch so I can get out there and walk! If not, I might just take the umbrella and go any way. Do you have a special goal that you have set this week? Let me know what it is! E-mail me at [email protected]! Happy goal setting!

Well, my loss of 1.4 lbs. has been pre-empted by Morgan's 1st Birthday!!!!! Yes! We made it! I can't believe it. Oh, how precious she is! When she woke up this morning, I was singing "Da Da Da Da....Today is your Birthday!" She was clapping and dancing and having a good ole' time! Tonight we will go to Mc Donald's for ice cream cones and to play in Play Land! A 1.4 loss - hmmmm. Not bad. Some might say great. However, I am a little miffed about it. First it is below my average, but there are always numbers below an average. I worked my tuchy off this week exercising everyday for at least an hour - however, I built muscle. Ate well, OP everyday. TOM is done. Was expecting bigger numbers and to reach my 25 lb. goal. I must say, I wish it was better, but I am truly happy with the loss. I put on a pair of pants yesterday that 3 weeks ago were too tight. So for losing only about 4 pounds in that time and the pants fitting normally, I think that is pretty good. So what is the point Kim????? Do not always go by the scale!!! Go by how you feel and how well your actions were in you past week! Things will catch up with you and you will reach your goal. You all have a great weekend and keep journaling! Make it a goal to wear out your journal by the end of your week!

Hi! Short entry today. Busy busy weekend. Morgan's party went off just great! She had a ball and rode her new bike until 9:30 that night! She was so cute. I think she really enjoyed having all those people there! I did really went point wise except for I think I had too many light beers. I was so stressed and it was helping me relax. Bad excuse, I know! Back to normal today. Hoping big time to hit the 25 lb. mark! Other that that will be busy working on the basement and finishing odds and ends around the house. Keep doing what the program says, eating OP and exercising and your body will give in! Have a great week!
