Good glorious Wednesday morning! OK - cheesey I know, but nonetheless, I'm happy as a lark because the sun is out and it is walking weather here! I love to walk and when the weather turns nice I get giddy! Sorry, but you'll have to deal with it! :)
Was a long weekend for me. I had this awful cold that was kickin' my bootie! I survived only to find my 5 month old had gotten it. It was terrible for me so I can imagine how bad it is for him at only 5 months! I was in the ER with him Monday night from 1-5! I thought for sure they would put him on a nebulizer because when he was breathing he was wheezing and moaning with every breath. He was also vomitting and whining constantly. Poor baby! Well, by the time we had gotten to the doc, his breathing had calmed down. No nebulizer, which is good! They did a chest x-ray for pnuemonia, but it was negative. Again, good! They put him on Pedialite due to the vomitting. Poor kid was so hungry that I finally gave him formula last night and he drank 1 and a half bottles and kept it down. Seemed ok this morning. We'll see what day care says this afternoon.
He and I did get out for a walk yesterday and that really boosted my spirits. Even with only 3 hours of sleep I had enough strength to go walking! I figured he wasn't sleeping at all and the fresh air and sunshine would do us some good.
I did get some sleep last night so that helped, but still extremely tired, but that will not keep me from my walk on my lunch today! :) I AM a walking fool!
I am doing well on my healthy life style. Eating is good and exercise is good for now. I generally have a pretty good motivation going now. I think in most part it is due to the weather. I am a sunshine girl and it really kicks me in gear. Also, updating this site has helped get some of my thoughts clear, which seems to always help.
My mom and dad are back from down south and will be visiting this weekend. I am excited to see them and so is Morgan. My sister is not recovering to well from her surgery so if you would keep her in your prayers, that will be greatly appreciated. She has a CT scan today and I should know more tonight.
Too much going on again, but life would be boring otherwise! Well, off to do some real work now! Have a great day and enjoy the weather if you can! :)
