Tambourine Choreography






Entrance with Tambourine behind back in both hands, graceful ball of the foot walking, half circle, so back faces audience (8 steps).
Raising Tambourine slowly above head, hit side or middle once with other hand (8 counts).
Stepping out to right, Tambourine slides above head in both hands on rhythm (4 steps to right, 4 steps to left).
Shimmy, shaking Tambourine.
Spinning to right, arms out to side (4 turns), airplane turns to left (4 turns), face towards audience.
Repeat Tambourine sliding above head to right, stepping to right with hip sways.
Stepping left with Tambourine circling in front of us in right hand, step out to left, pose, bring Tambourine slowly above head from side, drop head and upper body, shake Tambourine and come up, again faster.
Shake up to right in diagonal (2 times), then left (2 times), in front of chest diagonal right (2 times), left (2 times), by right hip (2 times), by left hip (2 times). Stepping to right with a hip sway, hitting Tambourine on right hip at each step (8 counts), step left circling with Tambourine.
Hold Tambourine in front of tummy in both hands, shimmy fast, choo-choo shimmy traveling to front, back, side, other side, repeat choo-choo steps and then spin with this.
Face audience, grab skirt with free hand, kick out with one foot (2 times), pose, belly rolls.
Kick out with other foot (2 times), pose, chest lifts and drops.
Jump back right in diagonal, both sides, pose, hip slides.
Jump forward, Tambourine at side sliding back and forth, switch hands, jump backwards, Tambourine at side, elbow in-out, in-out.
Spin around fast to right, arms above head-side-down, other direction arms down-side-above head (8 spins each way).
Face audience, fast Tambourine turning above head, to front and then at hipline, circle around with Tambourine in front.
Shoulder lifts backing (8 counts).
Shoulder shimmy forward (8 counts).
Arms out to side, chest slides (8 counts), Tambourine hitting on hip (4 counts), bending elbow (4 counts).
Fast shimmy, bring Tambourine above head and pose with head drop back for Finale.
