Breanna was born via c-section at 35 weeks gestation.  She was the second delivered of the twins.  Mama was knocked out for the delivery.  She was on a ventalator the first time Mama saw her due to her lungs were  not quite developed.  She also had a heart murmur. (it has healed on its own.) She had to go to Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida.  Daddy went to be with her the following day.  Mama and big sister Sarah came 2 days later.They all stayed at the Ronald McDonald House. ( S.J was at his dad's.)  Soon she was off the ventalator with 3 serafactant treatments under her belt.  She was breathing on her own.  Using a feeding tube, formula and breastmilk flowing,  she didnt go hungry.

On December 31st, she was sent back to the hospital in Valdosta before Mama or Daddy got to hold her.   Shortly before midnight they both got to hold her.  It was a wonderful blessing.

After another 9 days of  hospital time, Breanna finally went home to her family. She had no problem moving from bottles to breastfeeding.  Mama and Daddy were relieved.  Princess Breanna was finally all theirs.
