Searching for Sanctuary Cast

Aerith Gainsborough	The last of an ancient race called the Cetra who traveled from world to world, creating havens for life. Her powers being the envy of Sephiroth as well as the Shinra Corp, she was hunted and used in an attempt to find the Promised Land, what the Cetra legends said was their final resting place. In order to stop Sephiroth from summoning Meteor, she sacrificed herself to carry her prayer to the Planet. However, due to the Time Compression, she found herself alive again after the threat of Geostigma was eradicated - but just in time to watch her world get swallowed by the Darkness.
Allison	A young woman from Salem. Dragged unwillingly into the resurrection of the Sanderson Sisters, she assisted Max, Danni, Sora, and Kaiyou in putting the witches back into their graves.
Amarant	Amarant was once a bounty hunter, hired to find the Princess Garnet Til Alexandros. In the process, he ended up getting into a pissing match with Zidane and ended up losing. As a result, he followed Zidane around, trying to figure out what made him so strong. In the end, he became friends with the group and has since become Garnet's body guard in Alexandria.
Ansem
Auron	Originally Braska's Guardian, he later became Yuna's Guardian. Currently still wandering around the Coliseum as an Unsent.
Axel	Once known as the Flurry of Dancing Flames VIII, Axel is actually Reno's Nobody. Disgusted with his Heart's actions, he has no real desire to become whole again and thus, become responsible for the things Reno has done. In fact, in order to avoid blame for anything, he has placed the duty of all Moral Decision Making on Roxas, whom he has decided to travel with.
Barret Wallace	One of the original heroes of Radiant Garden, Barret fought with Cloud, Tifa, and the others to save their world from Sephiroth and Jenova. He struggled valiantly to stop Sephiroth from using the Black Materia to summon Meteor to destroy the Planet in his attempt to kill everyone and become a god, riding the world as a dead ship into another world where he could start the process over. Barret is the foster father of Marlene and has a gun for a right hand.
Beatris	The captain of Dagger's bodyguards. She is a competent swords woman, and extremely loyal to her queen.
Benny the Cab	A Toon from ToonTown who frequently assisted Eddie, Kaiyou, and Roger in getting around ToonTown and L.A.
Binx	Thakery Binx, as he was once known, was a farmer in Salem, MA. 300 years ago, on a quest to save his sister from the witches of Salem, he was turned into an immortal black cat. On his own, he decided to guard the old house where the witches used to live in order to prevent some stupid virgin from lighting the black flame candle and bringing the witches back to life. He failed to prevent their return, but succeeded in assisting in destroying the witches once and for all. Unfortunately, he died in the process.
Braska	Yuna's father, defeated Sin, but had to give up his life in the process, leaving Yuna an orphan.
Buggs Bunny	A Toon from ToonTown who provided Sora and Kaiyou with information on the activities of the Heartless and Organization XIII in the L.A. area.
Cait Sith	Otherwise known as "Sir not appearing in this fic"
Cid Highwind	airship captain, first astronaut of Radiant Garden, and terrorist against the Shinra Company. He joined Cloud and co. after Shinra ran him out of his house in an attempt to steal one of his precious airplanes. Now practically the only one who knows how to run computers properly, he is in charge of Radiant Garden's defense grid and keeping Tron healthy. However, his hard work has recently been destroyed by a virus planted by Yazoo during a distracting attack by Loz and the Heartless.
Cid Kramer (Headmaster)	Mr. Kramer was once a humble man running a small orphanage with his wife, Edea, when a witch appeared and possessed his wife. As a result, Cid set out to create military academies, called Gardens, to battle the wicked Sorceress. Now that Ultimecia is dead, though, Cid has gone back to living a quiet life with his wife, fostering Sora Loire while Sora's father is missing and Sora's mother runs the country of Esthar.
Cid (Regent)	Regent Cid is the ruler of Lindblum and Princess Garnet's uncle. He hired the acting group, Tantalus, to kidnap Garnet in order to get her to Lindblum so he could speak with her about her mother. Now, he is adopted father of Eiko, and thankfully, no longer an Oglop.
Chappu	Wakka's younger brother on Besaid. He joined the army, which used forbidden Machina guns, and was killed by Sin
Cloud Strife	hero that defeated Sephiroth after the topmost general of Shinra's SOLDIERS went insane and tried to destroy the Planet, Radiant Garden, with Meteor. Cloud carries a great burden of being a clone of Sephiroth and blames Sephiroth for many of his problems. He also blames himself for not being strong enough to resist Sephiroth's manipulation, which resulted in Aerith's death.
Dagger	Princess Garnet Til Alexandrios, a Summoner and queen of Alexandria.
Daisy Duck	Donald's girlfriend and Queen Minnie's hand maiden at Disney Castle.
Daffy Duck	A Toon from ToonTown and was once Donald's coworker at the Ink and Paint in a Dueling Piano skit.
Danni	A young, and inexperienced witch in Salem, who is now the only protector of her world since the coming - and leaving - of Sora, Kaiyou, and the Heartless.
Delores	A waitress in a diner, and Eddie Valiant's girlfriend. She assisted Kaiyou, Eddie, and Sora in figuring out Judge Doom's plans and driving the getaway cars.
Demyx	"I look hawt in leather." The Melodious Nocturne, IX, is a Nobody who, due to a run-in with Gary, is now mostly Light. He was charged, thirteen years ago, to watch over Kosuiko, and even now, habit keeps him glued to her side.
Donald Duck	King Mickey's head mage, and Laguna Loire's master. Four years ago, he was requested by King Mickey to find the Keybearer, and as a result, became Sora's companion. Now, he is again fighting to restore peace to the universe against the reoccurring threat of Heartless and Nobodies.
Judge Doom	A psychopathic Toon from Los Angeles who wished to destroy ToonTown and build a freeway. He was defeated by Kaiyou and Eddie.
Eiko	A young Summoner, orphaned by the destruction of her hometown, Madain Sairi, on the world of Gaia, she assisted Zidane and Dagger in stopping Kuja from destroying their world. Now, she is living as the adopted daughter of Regent Cid and his wife.
Edea Kramer	Once known as Sorceress Edea, she is the wife of Cid Kramer. Originally, she and her husband owned an orphanage, raising Squall and his friends who later saved the world from Ultimecia. Now, she is the lady Sora lives with while his mother is in the capital.
Eddie Valiant	A detective that used to work exclusively on Toon cases. After the death of his brother, Teddy, Eddie turned alcoholic and bitter. However, when Roger Rabbit came crashing into his life, he rediscovered a reason to live, and assisted Kaiyou in saving ToonTown from utter destruction.
Elena	A Turk working for Rufus Shinra. Was transformed into a monster by Hojo and is now part Zolom.
Ellone Loire	A Memory Witch with the ability to send people into the past. She grew up in the same orphanage as Squall Leonhart. She is currently the president of Esthar in the absence of her husband, Laguna Loire, and the mother of Sora.

Gary Drakeson	"I enjoy a good Challenge." An orphan at the age of seven when his house burned down in a fire he set, Gary was put into The System and never adopted. Instead, he was moved from one foster home to another every year as he manipulated those around him into doing what he wanted once he got bored of a place. Three times, he ended up in the same foster home as Kaiyou and delighted in destroying her life. Now, he knows that he is a Prince of Darkness and is determined to use Kaiyou to destroy the universe and remake it in his image, recreating himself as a god.

Hojo	Currently drawing a triple paycheck from Maleficent, Rufus, and Xemnas to create new Heartless and Nobodies. He is currently examining the Heartless and Nobodies to figure out what he can do to improve them through genetic tinkering. While not a Heartless himself, he is enough like one that he has some minor control over the weaker minded ones and uses them as lab assistants.

Jecht	Tidus's father. He was a famous Blitzball player in a dream version of Zanarkand, but after being pulled into reality, he sobered up and decided to sacrifice himself as Braska's Final Aeon to destroy Sin - only to find out that he would become Sin once possessed by Spira's god, Yu Yevon, the creator of Sin.
Jessica Rabbit	The sexy Toon wife of Roger Rabbit who sings at the Ink and Paint club in downtown L.A. Dragged into the fight over ToonTown by her connection to Marvin Acme - the owner of ToonTown - she assisted Sora in finding Kaiyou, at least briefly, and Eddie in finding Marvin's will.
Kadaj	A clone of Sephiroth who originally wished to take up where Sephiroth was interrupted, bringing about the Reunion in his desire to at last, be complete and have a family. However, after channeling Sephiroth and being defeated by Cloud, he was taken into the Lifestream by Aerith and given a second chance at life.

Khimari	A broken-horned Rhonso who became Yuna's Guardian. He was asked to watch over her by Auron and took Yuna to Besaid, where she would be able to grow up freely, away from those who would want to use her as a symbol after her father sacrificed himself to destroy Sin.

Laguna Loire	After defeating the Sorceress Adel, he was voted as President of Esthar and later married Ellone, the adopted daughter of his first wife, Raine. Together he and Ellone had twins, but after their daughter was kidnapped and presumed dead, he removed himself from his wife and son's life, focusing on running the country and not making a target of his family. However, after his world fell into Darkness, he went missing for 4 years, leaving Ellone to run the country in his absence. During that time, he has been working in Disney Castle as Donald's Apprentice, though he has terrible aim.
Larxene	The Savage Nymph, XII, is the only female of Organization XIII. After an encounter with Gary, however, she was absorbed by the Prince of Darkness and is utterly erradicated.
Lexaeus	The Silent Hero, V, is a member of Organization XIII, one of the original traitors of the group who joined Marluxia in his attempt to usurp Xemnas's power over Sora.
Loz	Kadaj and Yazoo's brother. He is a fist fighter, very physically strong, but also a complete softy, frequently bursting into tears. He's more of a follower than a leader and seeing as how his eldest brother Kadaj has gone missing, he and Yazoo have no choice but to follow Sephiroth.
Lulu	A black mage that grew up with Yuna on Besaid, became one of Yuna's Guardians when she became a Summoner. After the Journey and defeat of Sin, she and Wakka got married and had a baby on the way. Due to the Time Compression and Spira's fall into the Darkness, she is now a goth chick at Destiny High, dating Wakka, and talks about strange things with Wakka and Tidus, as if they all share the same dream that they lived another life.
Luxord	The Gambler of Fate X, a member of Organization XIII, and the only one to answer the alarm raised when Zack broke into the Castle that Never Was to save Sora. He was defeated by Zack, but is likely not gone for good.
Maleficent
Marlene	The adopted daughter of Barret Wallace, she is a young, bright girl who dreams of being just as inspirational as Aerith.
Marluxia	The Graceful Assassin XI, a member of Organization XIII, who lead a group of Nobodies in an attempt to usurp Xemnas's control over Sora.
Mary Sanderson	The eldest sister of the Sanderson Sister, a trio of witches in Salem who wished to live forever by sucking the life out of children. Their plans were foiled by Max, Danni, Allison, Sora, and Kaiyou.
Max	A teenager from Salem, recently moved there from California. Desperate to impress Allison, he stupidly lit the Black Flame Candle and returned the Sanderson Sisters from the dead. In the end, he was willing to sacrifice himself to save his little sister Danni, and provided the distraction Sora and Kaiyou needed to defeat the witches.

He met Cloud and co. when they broke into the Shinra Tower to rescue Aerith and joined their group on the condition that they would take him home to Cosmo Canyon. Later, he assisted in destroying Sephiroth again during the Geostigma crisis. Currently, he is MIA.

His duties include, sneaking, spying, stealing, eradicating enemies, and protecting Rufus. As a Heartless, he has no interest in becoming whole, again.
Rikku	One of Yuna's Guardians, she's Al Bhed and Yuna's cousin.
Riku Valentine	"You're a lot like water, you splash when rocks are thrown at you, but when the ripples die away, there's no wound..."
Rinoa Heartilly	Squall's love whom he went through hell to save from the Sorceress Ultimecia, only to lose her to the Darkness when his world was destroyed. After her death, Squall changed his name to Leon and moved to Radiant Garden.

Rude	A Turk and currently working for Rufus, just as he worked for Rufus's father. Though he doesn't particularly like Rufus's methods, Rude remains relatively loyal to the company and continues to do his job in hopes that he'll find a way to restore Reno.
Rufus Shinra	President of the fallen Shinra Company, he is a Prince of Darkness who wishes to rule the universe through fear and domination. He's a shrewd planner and intends to take the worlds one at a time. He's already succeeded in taking Radiant Garden back, and will use that as his base of operations.
Sarah Sanderson	Winifred's sister, and a witch from Salem, brought back from the dead on Halloween night. While she was pretty, she had the intelligence of a retarded field mouse.
Scarlette	Employee of Shinra, head of the weapons department. MIA
Seifer Almasy	Squall's rival from SEED, but due to the Time Compression and his world falling into the Darkness, he has been given a second childhood in Twilight Town with his best friends, Raijin and Fuujin.

Sephiroth	General of the Shinra Army during the war to subjugate Wutai, Sephiroth is an experiment created by Hojo, an attempt to create a perfect soldier, a perfect human, and a perfect puppet. Sephiroth, however, finding that he wasn't human, was driven mad by Jenova, an ancient virus that wiped out the Cetra two thousand years previous. As a Prince of Darkness, he now intends to destroy all life and absorb the souls that are released to become a god.
Seymour Guado	A Guado Summoner from Spira, who became disillusioned with life at an early age. He seeks to destroy all living things, taking them into Death where he believes there will be no suffering. He intends to do this by using the Amplifier and his powers as a Prince of Darkness.
Shuyen	Once a young man who loved a Singer-Summoner back in the days of Zanarkand, a thousand years ago, he is now a Prince of Darkness. Driven to the deepest pits of Darkness by his longing for Lenne, he has mistaken Yuna for his dead lover and is determined to stop the war even if it means destroying the universe.
Siax	The Luna Diviner VII, a member of Organization XIII.

Steiner	The captain of Dagger's guard, the Knights of Pluto. While his intentions are good, his blunt manner tends to make a mess of things. He is frequently called "Rusty" and despises the pet name.
Stupid	One of Doom's Weasel henchmen.
Squall Leonhart	Currently going by the name of "Leon", he is the unfortunate eldest son of Laguna Loire.
Tifa Lockhart	Grew up in Nibelheim with Cloud, later moved to Midgar and joined Avalanche, a terrorist group whose goal was to stop the Shinra Company from destroying the planet, Radiant Garden, by sucking out all its blood. Afterwards, she assisted Cloud again in defeating Sephiroth after the virus Geostigma threatened to destroy the already thinned population of Radiant Garden. She seems to be eternally out of touch with Cloud, though she loves him and wishes to be with him
Tidus	Blitzball player from Dream Zanarkand, brought into reality by the Fayth to stop the spiral of death that was consuming Spira. After meeting Wakka on Besaid, he became Yuna's Guardian and fell in love with her during her Journey to destroy Sin. Due to the Time Compression and his world being consumed by Darkness for a brief time, he is now also a Blitzball player in Destiny High on Destiny Islands in Esthar, and Wakka's younger brother.
Tseng	The leader of the Turks working for Rufus. While his loyalties have waned, Tseng continues to work for Rufus in hopes of finding some way to restore Elena to her natural form. His hopes, however, are dying just as his loyalty to the Company has, and soon, all he will have left is prayer.
Tweety Bird	A Toon in ToonTown.
Umi Loire	"I eat babies. No... really, I do. Ask Kaiyou." Kaiyou's Soul. Since Kaiyou split in an unusual way, Umi remained with her Heart, rather than creating a Nobody, as usually happens. As a result, Umi is the gatekeeper of Kaiyou's Memories, releasing them back to her one at a time.
Vexen	The Chilly Academic IIII, a Nobody of Organization XIII, and also charged with the onerous task of riding herd on Hojo. However, he is more interested in conducting his own experiments, rather than keeping a close eye on the human scientist, thus leaving Hojo to do as he likes.
Vincent Valentine	While he once was a Turk, is still a genetic monstrosity, Vincent is now a government employee, working in the bureaucracy of Esthar on the mainland. Due to the Time Compression and fall of Radiant Garden into the Darkness, he has been living in Esthar for the last twenty years, denying his past and hiding it from his son, Riku. Now, however, with the frequent disappearances of his son, Vincent has gotten fed up with sitting back and letting things happen around him and has followed Riku to Disney Castle, only to join the fight to take Radiant Garden back from Rufus's control.
Vivi Orniter	As a Black Mage prototype created by dark magics, he was originally a doll with the ability to cast elemental spells. However, after the Time Compression and fall of his world into Darkness, Vivi is possibly something a little more.

Yazoo	A Sephroid, a being created from Sephiroth's DNA, but not exactly him. He is one of a trio of silver-haired clones that tried to resurrect Sephiroth and restart the Jenova Reunion. He wields a pair of short gunblades as weapons. He is also desperately searching for his lost brother, Kadaj, even as he alternately works for Rufus and Sephiroth.
Yen Sid
Yuffie Kisaragi	Princess of Wutai, Materia hunter, and ninja, she is always scraping and pinching munny to send back home to rebuild her fallen country. She joined Cloud and co. on their journey to defeat Sephiroth in hopes that she could have Cloud's Materia after they defeated Sephiroth. She later helped Cloud defeat Sephiroth and his clones - Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo - when the threat of Geostima surfaced. Now, she is working with Squall to restore Radiant Garden after its fall into Darkness.
Yuna	High Summoner Yuna, the last and final Summoner to defeat Sin.
Zack Fair	As a member of SOLDIER, First Class, he has enhanced strength, speed, and durability. These attributes are due to his being made into a clone of Sephiroth and infused with Mako energy. However, after Cloud killed Sephiroth for the first time, he and Cloud were taken as specimens for Hojo's research, and upon breaking out, Zack tried to take Cloud to Midgar, where they could disappear. Only Cloud made it, however. Zack was killed only a few miles out from the city. Due to the Time Compression, though, Zack is back from the dead and doesn't quite realize that he died. Now scraping for money in what's left of Midgar, he has been hired by Tseng and Rude to rescue Sora from Hojo.
