Huckleberry

On May 7 2001, we had taken our older dog to see the vet for some unexplained lameness. After taking some tests it was diagnosed as bone cancer. There is no cure or treatment available. Our Huckleberry is only 6 years old and will not live long enough to see his seventh birthday. For this reason I am dedicating this page to him. So here are some pictures of Huck with his family and friends.

Huck went to puppy heaven on July 6, 2001. He will be greatly missed. Even sick and in pain with cancer he still loved to romp and play. Huck hated water and on one of our last adventures he jumped in and posed for me. I think this picture shows what a beautiful dog he was.
