Cartwheel
A Cartwheel is a basic skill a Gymnast needs. To do a cartwheel, both arms start above your head. (Kind of like a "Ta Da!" pose) One leg steps in front, and hands hit the ground. Then your leg (Already stepped out) should push yourself off of the ground, so leg 2 should come up in the air and land about two feet away from the arm of the same side. Remember to end with a pose!
Round-Off
The is a beginner skill even Olympians use. This is used to rotate your body halfway around to do Flic-Flacs and Whipbacks/layouts.
This time the instructions aren't as complicated: Do the exact same same thhings as a cartwheel, but land with your feet together!
Back Walkover (Or Kickover)
This skill should not be tried if you cannot  do a bridge (Arch) from a standing position. If you can, practice kicking one leg up and holding it.
Another way to practice if you can't do a bridge is to lay down on a mat that is two or three feet from the floor. PLace your hands on the floor and push your hips off of the mat. (Feet still on the mat) kick one leg over and split in the air, land on one foot, then the other. Voila!
Back Handspring (Flic-Flac, Flip Flop
A back handspring shouldn't be tried if you can't do a back walkover, and is usually learned in Level 4 (U.S.)
Don't try it without help!!
Whip Back (Or a Layout)
This is kind of like a no handed Back Handspring. You need lots of power , so you ussually would start with a run to a roundoff/backhandspring, like this girl.
