Very surprisingly, especially for those who have known me for some time is that I quickly discovered that I love living in Tororonto! Especially since discovering this small community called Mimico-by-the-Lake.
Reminiscent of my life on the shores of Lake Huron, here I can also feel the water in the air, I can hear the trees dancing in the wind and within minutes of walking, I am lookin upon a spans of blue that calms yet also invigorates me.
However, unlike my home on the shores of Lake Huron in a small community that stood alone, now I find I am living in a small community that is just one of the many communites and neighbourhodds of what I now call home -- Toronto.
Life is full of surprises at any age and I am so glad for this surprise...for possiblity, this may be the place I finally rest -- plant my roots and call home -- in this refreshing, yet cozy place called Mimico-by-the-Lake.
